Make Beach Bocce the South Carolina State Beach Game

If you know any legislators in South Carolina, introduce them to this great game.  Urge them to make Beach Bocce the State Beach Game.  Stranger things have happened.  Did you know that on a suggestion by a guy from Rock Hill, SC, the SC Legislature adopted the boiled peanut as the SC State Snack Food?  Why not Beach Bocce?

It could happen.  Maybe during the Sun Fun festival or maybe during the dead of winter.  I love playing bocce then.  Try it some time.  We could even invite the winners from the California Beach Bocce tournament, as well as people from other clubs around the nation (like some of the clubs in New Jersey) to come to the SC Grand Strand for some boiled peanuts, shag music, grits, sweet tea, and beach bocce, southern style.   Come to think of it, our tournament could really go international.  For example, since there is talk that Jamaica is canning their olympic bobsled program, we could encourage them to start their own beach bocce club on their beaches and then invite their winners to come to our tournament. 

Join the SCBBA and help spread the fun of SC Beach Bocce.  Create your own chapter and register it.  Send photos of your chapter in action.
